How to Install?

is my toilet seat compatible?

To check if your toilet is compatible with MIYYAH, look for one simple thing:

Locate the water source: If you can see a hose connected to your toilet seat, your toilet is compatible. This water source is typically visible and not hidden behind the wall.

Title: How to Install my Miyyah Bidet Attachment?

Step 1

Remove The Toilet Seat

Turn off the water supply valve at the base of the toilet tank. Hold down the flush lever to drain as much water as possible from the bowl. A small amount of residual water is normal.

Step 2

Connect The Bidet To The Hoseline

Next, attach the same flexible steel hose to the water port on your bidet attachment console. Twist it gently in a counter-clockwise direction to finger-tighten. If you notice that the hose only turns once before stopping, it might be cross-threading and not sealing properly. In this case, unscrew the hose and reattach it, ensuring the threads align correctly. You may need to use thread tape to achieve a perfect, leak-free fit.

Step 3

Attach Your Bidet To The Bowl

Time to secure your bidet attachment. Position the bidet attachment on your toilet. Most designs come with adjustable flanges. Align these with the holes between the bowl and tank, which are used for mounting the toilet seat. Ensure the nozzle is centered in the bowl and positioned as close to the back rim as possible without touching it. The nozzle needs enough space to adjust its angle while also being deep enough for proper alignment. You can determine the needed space by adjusting the nozzle back and forth using the bidet console.

Step 4

Reattach Your Toilet Seat

Secure your toilet seat on top of the bidet attachment by aligning the toilet seat bolts through the adjustable flanges and the toilet’s mounting holes. Turn the bolts clockwise to tighten. To ensure a secure fit, hold the nuts underneath the toilet while tightening the bolts from the top. This method helps you achieve a firmer attachment.

Step 5

Leak-Check and Butt Test

Turn on your water shutoff valve and inspect all connection points for any visible leaks. If there are no leaks, you’re all set! If leaks are present, ensure the rubber gasket inside the adapter is correctly positioned. Also, check that the threads are properly aligned and all connections are securely tightened, but be cautious not to over-tighten. Important: Do not activate the spray until you are seated. Bidets need a target, and if you’re not seated, the water will aim at your bathroom wall.
